Gravity Anomaly

Tonoptik
Elementary: gravity anomaly
DESCRIPTION

Gravity Anomaly is an interactive audiovisual art installation inspired by the ocean. A small part of the ocean is brought into a new urban context. While preserving the sensations of mass and elemental force, the installation allows the viewer to control this element by altering the gravitational characteristics within a virtual cube. In this way, the passive observer becomes an active participant in creating an audiovisual experience based on physical anomalous phenomena.

Tonoptik is an art project in the field of new media, audiovisual, light and sound art, built around a common idea and a typical for the project minimalist aesthetic. We experiment with sound and visual configurations, basing our approach on a free exploration of modern technologies and their interaction with humans.

The project is a laureate of the Spanish MADATAC Award, in 2020 won a special prize from the Cyland MediaArt Lab for an audiovisual work, and Honorary Mentioned by the Share Prize XV jury.
